Production AssemblerThe Production Assembler will join a agile team dedicated to assembling enclosures for data centers and oil and gas units. Utilizing blueprints, you will be responsible for installing mechanical components and hardware, employing hand tools, power tools, wrenches, and lifting devices. The role involves comprehensive training across the production area, starting as a helper and progressing to direct work on the units. We value teachability and a strong desire to learn, as this position offers significant growth opportunities within the production area.ResponsibilitiesInstall flux bars and bus bars into electrical cabinets.Install parts and equipment in electrical boxes and components.Assemble metal buildings according to instructions.Essential SkillsProficiency in using a tape measure (both standard and metric).Efficient use of hand and power tools.Strong mechanical inclination.Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain safety consciousness.Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forklift, overhead crane, and picker truck is considered an asset.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a current main shop building. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime is offered after 40 hours in a week. PPE requirements include CSA-approved boots, safety glasses, and gloves.Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Calgary, AB.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
