Drive youth engagement and advocacy as a Programs Manager with the African Canadian Association of Ottawa. This role focuses on strategic program delivery and community involvement. ACAO is hiring a Youth Programs Manager on a contract basis until March 31, 2027.

This position is responsible for overseeing the coordination, evaluation, and sustainability of youth programs in the Ottawa area. Collaborate effectively with community partners and stakeholders to enhance youth participation through culturally responsive initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate youth programs that meet community needs effectively
Monitor program quality and participant outcomes regularly
Lead staff and volunteers in a collaborative team setting




Manage program finances and funding reports
Implement outreach strategies to attract current participants Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
Background in youth programming and volunteer supervision
Robust problem-solving and leadership abilities
Familiarity with cultural responsiveness and anti-racism initiatives
Ability to navigate funding requirements and budgets Lead inclusive youth programming and make a difference for Black and Caribbean communities through ACAO in Ottawa.
