Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a comfortable experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with kitchen staff and baristas to ensure timely service
Serve food and drinks with professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly attitude
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces, counters, and serving stations
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations and uphold food safety standards
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance in all aspects of service
Experience
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with customer service and food handling protocols
Experience in serving or hospitality roles that involve direct guest interaction is advantageous
Barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus, showcasing versatility in beverage service
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices within the food service workplace
Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to create welcoming interactions with guests
Ability to work efficiently in rapid-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of service
