This permanent position requires dedication to maintaining the Westhills YMCA-YWCA facilities. You'll report to the Manager of Facility Maintenance, engaging in everything from preventative maintenance to emergency repairs. The role requires flexibility to ensure all areas, especially the pools, meet health and safety standards while developing robust relationships with members.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems
Manage emergency repairs, including plumbing and electrical issues
Use computerized systems for effective facility operations




Ensure cleanliness and safety of pool facilities
Interact with the community and respond to service requests

Requirements:
Certificate in a related trade or equivalent experience
Pool Operator Certificate must be attained within 6 months
Robust interpersonal skills for member interactions
Certified in WHMIS and First Aid/CPR
Background check clearance including Vulnerable Sector Screening
