Overview

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Mobile Tire Service Technician to join the TireSwaps team.

Your primary responsibility will be flat tire repairs and seasonal tire swaps at our customers’ homes and workplaces. TireSwaps has a large and established customer base, and our fall and spring swap seasons are extremely busy, providing strong earning opportunities for technicians who are dependable, efficient, and ready to work.

Primary Responsibilities

- Perform seasonal tire changes for tires already mounted on rims
- Complete flat tire repairs using exterior plugs when appropriate
- Safely jack and lift vehicles using proper lifting points
- Remove and install wheels safely and efficiently
- Torque wheel nuts to manufacturer specifications
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Inspect tires and wheels for obvious damage, excessive wear, or safety concerns
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment
- Travel to customers’ homes and workplaces to complete mobile services
- Provide friendly, professional customer service

Compensation This position is compensated on a per-service basis rather than through a salary or hourly wage.

You are paid for the services you successfully complete, so your earning potential increases with the number of appointments you complete.

TireSwaps has a large and established customer base, with particularly high demand during the spring and fall swap seasons. Fall is our busiest time of year, and technicians should be prepared for a high volume of appointments and strong earning opportunities.

Reliability and availability during our peak fall and spring tire seasons are especially important.

While tire swaps and flat repairs are the primary focus of this position, technicians who are interested may also have opportunities to take on additional paid service jobs through Our Home Crew, particularly outside of peak tire season.

These jobs may include

- Lawn cutting and basic yard maintenance
- Handyman work
- Property maintenance
- Basic residential repairs
- Other general home services

This is optional and provides an chance for someone who enjoys a variety of hands-on work to continue earning outside of the busiest tire seasons. Experience with lawn equipment, power tools, property maintenance,



or handyman work is an asset for these additional opportunities but is not required for the primary TireSwaps role.

What We're Looking For

- Comfortable performing seasonal tire swaps on rims
- Comfortable performing basic exterior plug repairs
- Experience working with vehicles, tools, or mechanical equipment
- Comfortable using jacks, impact wrenches, torque wrenches, inflators, and basic hand tools
- Physically capable of lifting and moving tires and equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage appointments efficiently
- Comfortable working independently
- Professional and respectful when working at customers’ homes and workplaces
- Willing and available to work hard during busy seasonal periods
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Previous tire, automotive, or mechanical experience is an asset

Ideal Candidate This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working independently, and being rewarded based on the amount of work they complete.

You do not need to be a licensed mechanic. We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable working with vehicles and tools, and committed to completing each job safely and professionally.

If you're motivated, reliable, and enjoy staying busy, our peak tire seasons offer the opportunity to take advantage of a large existing customer base and a high volume of service appointments.

Primary focus: Flat tire repairs and seasonal tire swaps.

Optional additional opportunities: Lawn care, handyman work, and property maintenance through Our Home Crew.

Pay: $35.00-$65.00 per hour
