Under the direct supervision of the Director of Outreach Services and the general supervision of the Senior Director of Womens Housing, the Diversion Outreach Coordinator will respond to crisis and provide support from a trauma-informed,
harm reduction and client-centered approach to women and families with complex barriers while working in collaboration with all YWCA Regina Womens Housing teams in meeting the needs for housing, food security, and safety.Responsibilities:Service DeliveryAdministrative DutiesQualifications:Experience working with Indigenous communities and culturesDemonstrated experience working with the complex needs of people experiencing homelessnessKnowledge of the Child Welfare system, Trauma Informed Care, and Family Violence would be an assetKnowledge about mental health issues and substance use disorder and how to respond to them (Naloxone training is an asset)Ability to work independently and with a teamAccurate record keeping ability and basic computer skills (knowledge of HIFIS would be an asset)Positive communication and organizational abilitiesCrisis intervention skillsAwareness of colonization and the intergenerational impacts it has had on women and familiesRespect for women and children of various backgrounds.Full competition detail including detailed responsibilities and employment benefits: https://ywcaregina.Com/contribute/careers/#J-18808-Ljbffr
