This position is responsible for professionally serving food and ice water to dining guests at the table. Work with the 360 Captains to make guests feel welcome and comfortable, while always performing under the Food and Beverage Standard Operating Procedures.Job DescriptionRequirementsEnsure assigned section is ready for service and assigned side duties are complete prior to serviceCommunicating with assigned Captain all guests concerns and handling guest concerns to the satisfaction of the guestsCommunicate with Restaurant Manager(s) when there are deficiencies with par stocks (i.E. glassware, china, silver, linen, and other miscellaneous supplies)Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, products, cooking process, ingredients and potential relevant allergiesAssist the Restaurant Managers and Restaurant staff with other designated duties within the job classificationAdhere to all Company policies and departmental procedures and the Collective AgreementWaiter Key FunctionsDeliver bread, condiments, and water service as requiredCheck assigned section for cleanliness, uniformity and overall appearanceKeep table neat and clean throughout serviceManage assigned side stand(s) for correct levels of par stock (i.E. silverware, condiments)Clean and organize side stand to be ready for serviceSupport the Captain as necessary to ensure guest satisfactionExpedite food ordersWork in conjunction with Captain and Kitchen to ensure guests receive their orders efficiently and promptlyQualificationsOne (1) to three (3)



years of related fine dining experience is requiredSmart Serve certification is requiredFood and Beverage knowledge is preferredBilingualism (English/French) is an assetWorking ConditionsInteracts with employees, management and the public at large.Department uniforms are provided to protect personal clothing from wear and damage. Approved uniforms are to be worn during working hours.
