Make a difference with Fraser Health as a Child and Youth Intake Clinician. This position centers on providing vital mental health support and resource planning for young clients. In this role, you will assess children and youth for eligibility in mental health and substance use services, developing supportive resource plans collaboratively.

The focus is on facilitating timely access to necessary services by building solid relationships with community partners. You'll also deliver brief interventions, therapeutic support, and navigate clients through their mental health journeys. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial screenings for mental health referrals
Establish risk indicators for client assessment




Assist clients with accessing community resources
Provide direct clinical services including crisis intervention
Facilitate therapeutic group programs that foster healing Requirements:
Master’s Degree in a relevant social sciences program
Recent experience related to youth mental health
Valid B.C. Driver’s License
Solid knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
Skills in cooperative engagement with community stakeholders Utilize your counseling expertise to support the well-being of youth in the Fraser Health community.
