Responsibilities
Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders
Verify that each dish meets quality standards before it reaches the guest
Organize and prioritize orders for efficient service flow
Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions clearly to kitchen team
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing
Maintain cleanliness of work stations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
Support food safety protocols by adhering to hygiene standards and proper sanitation practices
Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order tracking and updating status information
Collaborate with kitchen staff to resolve any order discrepancies or delays promptly
Experience
Previous food service experience in a quick-paced restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving, food preparation, and cashiering roles
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
Experience with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and guests
Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent guest service skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Background in meal preparation, cleaning, cooking, or barista roles is advantageous
