About the RoleTechnica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Project Engineer based in Sudbury, ON. In this role, the Project Engineer will support project operations with a focus on quality management and coordination activities, including payroll, purchasing, and reporting, while contributing to the overall success of the project. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and a multidisciplinary team, this role will coordinate engineering, construction planning, and project controls activities to ensure alignment with project objectives, schedule, and budget, while providing valuable input into design reviews, constructability, and integration across work packages.The key responsibilities of a Project Engineer include, but not limited to:Coordinate engineering and technical inputs across multiple disciplines (mining, mechanical, electrical, construction)Support constructability reviews and assist in developing execution strategies for underground worksTrack and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and design clarificationsAssist in development of project deliverables including:Cost estimates and supporting documentationProject schedules and progress trackingRisk registers and mitigation plansLiaise with client engineering teams to ensure alignment with design intent and project requirementsSupport procurement planning by identifying technical requirements and long-lead itemsMaintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and revision controlParticipate in project meetings, workshops, and site visits as requiredAssist in preparation of progress reports and coordination of interdisciplinary activitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred)3–8 years of experience in mining, heavy civil, or industrial construction projectsExperience in underground mining projects is considered an assetFamiliarity with project delivery phases (FEL, ECI,
