The CNSC is hiring an Environmental Program Officer to support environmental protection initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance for nuclear facilities.
This role involves conducting technical assessments, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting program activities. You will contribute significantly towards the health of Canadians and the environment through your work. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in technical assessments of environmental protection programs
Support environmental compliance activities and inspections
Engage with Indigenous groups and the public as needed
Contribute to CNSC’s Independent Environmental Monitoring Program
Prepare support materials for CNSC Commission proceedings Requirements:
University degree in related science or engineering discipline
