Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Part Time Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and automotive repair expertise in a fast-paced dealership setting. As a key contributor, you will assist with vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service with every visit.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to diagnose issues and execute repairs accurately
- Assist with vehicle assembly, component replacement, and welding tasks as needed




- Conduct inspections utilizing mechanical knowledge to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Support the team with heavy lifting and manual tasks to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate findings clearly to team members
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair activities

Requirements

- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read schematics and interpret technical diagrams effectively
- Experience with welding, assembly, and maintenance tasks is a plus
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients when needed
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Valid mechanic experience or relevant certifications are advantageous
