Intermediate GIS Analyst-8 MonthAs an Intermediate GIS Analyst, in any of ourCanadian offices, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi‑disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.The compensation range for this role is $31.00 to $45.00 commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.ResponsibilitiesCreating and editing spatial data and mapping products and performing junior level geospatial analyses in support of our service lines and key areas of workGenerating, editing, and maintaining relational geospatial databasesAssist in updating and maintaining mapping standards and work processesAt times, supporting field activities as a field second (workload dependent)Your Expertise And SkillsPossess an undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma5+ years of experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformationsProficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensionsProficient with ESRI ArcProWorking knowledge of ESRI Field Maps and Survey 123 data collection servicesAn ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, regulations,



drawings and job specificationsHave a keen eye for cartographic design and the capability to produce high quality cartographic productsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Industry experience in the Environmental or Consulting spaceExperience in the following would be considered an assetESRI Enterprise GeodatabasesESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) / OnlineFME or ESRI model builderAcquiring or processing UAV imageryExperience with linear infrastructure projects such as pipelinesAutoCAD Map or Civil 3DGIS Programming experience using technology such as Python, Arcade, R, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and related skillsField experience (along with applicable certifications)Experience in project planning and coordinationWe are an Equal Chance Employer.
