This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career inElectrical Inspections !TheSenior Technician IB Inspectoris responsible forWhat you’ll do:Setting up test apparatus to test customer supplied devicesOperating a wide-ranging amount of equipmentObtaining and recording test data in accordance with the product standardsAnalyzing test data and performing routing calculationsPrepare technical reportsMay extract and compile engineering dataMay prepare project files for compliance with operating proceduresWork with team members to make recommendations regarding technical decisions relating to the interpretation and applicability of test standardsCommunicate with clients and management regarding project resultsProvide training and work instructions to othersOversee work of other colleaguesProvide support to sales or other departments as required to quote jobs.Conduct field evaluationsPerforming other work as requiredWhat it takes to be successful in this role:Education and Experience RequirementsCollege Diploma/Degree or Journeyman Electrician FSR, Electrical and/or 10+ years related work experienceCanadian Electrical Code Course and trainingComputer skills including but not limited to Microsoft suiteFamiliarity with product certification standards including UL, CSA, NSFCore CompetenciesSelf-DirectedAbility to utilize field test equipmentAbility to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective mannerAbility to carry out simple one or two step instructionsAbility to deal with standardized situationsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentStrong interpersonal skillsStrong communication skills, in both verbal and written formatsAbility to travel up to 95%.A valid driver's license and reliable driving record.Salary & Benefits InformationThe hourly rate for this position is $45.30.
