Punnichy Community High School requires a Permanent Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Librarian to commence as soon as possible.

Salary and perks are per the current CUPE Agreement. The hours of work will be equivalent to 6 hours and 10 minutes per day, arranged by the principal.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 standing
- Experience and/or training as a Library Technician
- Experience and/or training with Destiny
- Ability to catalogue print and non- print materials using the Dewey Decimal System and the Sears list of subject headings
- Ability to communicate and cooperate with students and staff, and as a team player
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with basic skills such as filing, typing, and word processing
- Computer skills, email, and Internet research skills would be an asset
