As our new pharmacy assistant, you will: Work alongside the pharmacist to process and prepare prescriptions, provide excellent customer service in-person and via phone to patients, maintain inventory levels and pharmacy supplies to ensure the smooth operation of our dispensary. Your customer service and communication skills will be the pillars of your success here. You’ll bring a compassionate, patient-first focus to all your interactions, and will go above and beyond to help the diverse members of our community. You’ll also have tons of great opportunities here to make a difference to our pharmacy. When you have new ideas for how we can improve, and add more value to our patients, we’ll listen. we also care about your professional growth – and we want to see you grow with us. This is a part-time, permanent position that will turn into full time soon. Our pharmacy is open 6 days per week, between 9:00am and 6 pm (with shortened Friday and weekend hours).

Qualifications: Minimum 2 year experience in a pharmacy assistant or pharmacy technician role in a Canadian pharmacy. Experience using FillWare dispensing system is mandatory. Customer facing experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Certification as a registered pharmacy technician is an asset, but not required”.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
