We are seeking a Family Physician / Walk-In Physician to join our busy and growing medical clinic. The successful physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care to patients of all ages in a professional, supportive, and welcoming clinic setting.

This position is ideal for a physician who is licensed to practice in British Columbia and is looking for an opportunity to work in a family practice and/or walk-in clinic setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a family practice and/or walk-in clinic setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Obtain patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and provide referrals to specialists or other healthcare professionals when required.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other investigations.
- Provide preventive care, health education, and routine follow-up.




- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Complete medical documentation, prescriptions, referrals, and MSP billing in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow all applicable professional, ethical, privacy, and clinical standards.
- Provide high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

- Current and valid license to practice medicine in British Columbia.
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
- Eligible to practice as a Family Physician / General Practitioner in BC.
- Valid MSP billing number or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current professional liability protection/coverage.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide comprehensive primary care and/or walk-in medical services.
- Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
- Experience in family practice or walk-in clinic medicine is an asset.
