Senior AI Engineer – Databricks GenAI & AI/BI

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with solid expertise in Databricks, Generative AI, LLMs, Genie, and AI/BI to design and build intelligent, conversational, and analytical solutions on the Databricks platform.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Databricks Genie / Genie Spaces for enterprise business use cases.
Build and optimize Genie instructions, semantic definitions, trusted assets, example SQL, and business context.
Develop Genie Skills and Genie Code for advanced and reusable analytical use cases.
Build AI/BI dashboards, analytical applications, and conversational analytics.
Develop LLM-powered solutions using prompt engineering, RAG, Foundation Models, AI Functions, and Model Serving where applicable.
Design and implement AI agents and intelligent assistants for business use cases.
Evaluate and optimize AI/LLM responses for accuracy, relevance, reliability, and business usability.
Translate business requirements into AI/GenAI solutions, KPIs, metrics, and analytical logic.




Develop POCs, reusable accelerators, and production-ready AI solutions using Databricks.
Collaborate with architects, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.

Required Skills
7+ years of experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, Data Science, or related fields.
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
Robust knowledge of Databricks Genie / AI/BI.
Experience with Genie Skills, Genie Code, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
Robust Python and SQL skills; PySpark knowledge is preferred.
Experience with RAG, LLM application development, and AI solution design.
Understanding of analytical models, KPIs, metrics, and business logic.
Strong problem-solving, solution-design, and stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have
Experience with Vector Search, MLflow, Model Serving, Foundation Models, and AI Functions.
Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, and responsible AI.
Databricks GenAI / AI / ML certifications.
Experience building enterprise AI assistants or conversational analytics solutions.
