Sauters Inn Restaurant is looking to hire a Short-order cook/ breakfast cook/kitchen helper to help prepare food accordingly and kitchen cleaning (ex. Dishwashing, sweeping, disinfecting, etc.) German/Hungarian style food but very easy to pick up cooking style (ex. do not necessarily need to know how to cook German/Hungarian previously, very easy to pick up with proper training, which will be provided)

Responsibilities
Ensure the quality of food is prepared accordingly and reaches standard each and every time
Making sure work area, utensils and equipment are clean and sanitized
Restock or store items
Perform all opening/closing cleaning tasks as instructed
Following all Health and Safety policies and procedures while at work
Following secure food handling procedures at all times
Familiar with cooking breakfast style meals
Cleaning plates, pots, cutlery’s etc.




Sweeping and moping and the end of the closing shift
Taking our garbage/ recycling

Job Requirements
Has previous experience in cooking and handling food in a dining restaurant
Excellent communication and organization skills
Positive attitude and willing to learn certain cooking styles
Able to work versatile shifts
Able to work under pressure and manage high volume of stress
Excellent at working alone or with other team members
Punctuality

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Experience
Culinary: 2 years (preferred)
cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Food Protected, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
