Lennox & Addington County General Hospital seeks a General Surgeon in Napanee to enhance the surgical team. This role offers ample teaching prospects alongside a dynamic physician group. In this permanent position, you will have 1.75 OR/endo days per week at a state-of-the-art hospital featuring 3 ORs, a 4-bed ICU, and essential imaging technologies.

The ideal candidate must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and hold a valid license to practice surgery in Ontario, ensuring patient-centered care alongside a collegial workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive general surgeries with an emphasis on endoscopy
Participate in a 1 in 4 on-call schedule
Collaborate with various medical specialists to deliver integrated care




Contribute to educational programs with Queen’s University
Provide surgical care in an active ER and ICU setting Requirements:
Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada required
An independent surgical practice license in Ontario is mandatory
Broad experience in general surgery necessary
