Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency.
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling expertise.
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Assist with food industry tasks such as food handling, portion control, and basic math calculations for orders and payments.
Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to increase sales opportunities.




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and handle customer inquiries or concerns effectively.

Skills
Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and cash register operations.
Robust time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous; willingness to learn new skills is essential.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
