including vendor selection and supplier managementImplementing and documenting Automotive Operating Systems such as APQP, PPAP, and QOSEnsuring equipment modifications include appropriate safety and ergonomic safeguardsSupporting CAD‑based tool and fixture design in collaboration with tooling teamsLeading debugging, run‑off, and implementation of automation and assembly equipmentSupporting Quality Engineering in PPAP development and Run‑at‑Rate performance testingProviding technical guidance to Johnson Electric facilities related to automation, tooling performance, and cost‑reduction opportunitiesDriving regional continuous improvement initiatives aligned with annual CI targetsPerforming additional duties as required to support engineering and manufacturing objectivesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related technical field5–10+ years of hands‑on experience in automated assembly process developmentStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesTechnical expertise in:PLCs and programmable logicRobotics and vision systemsAutomated handling systems (AGVs, AVI, air‑proofing, etc.)Electro‑mechanical systemsProficiency with FMEA and GD&TStrong; understanding of automotive quality systems and requirements (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001)Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict‑management, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to synthesize and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiencesHigh level of integrity, dependability,
