Title: Data PowerBI Developer

Location: North York, ON

Reports to: Senior Manager, Software, Architecture and Data

Length of Term: 3 months (about 53 business days, potential extension)

Salary: $72-$78 per hour Inc. (7.25 hours per day)

Hybrid: 3 days onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards and reports across both on-premises and cloud BI environments. The ideal candidate has strong SQL Server and BI stack expertise (SSIS/SSAS) and a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing reporting solutions using diverse data sources.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience in Power BI development (both Power BI Service/cloud and Power BI Report Server on-prem)




- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, query optimization, stored procedures)
- Solid working knowledge of SSIS (ETL development) and SSAS (tabular/multidimensional models)
- Proven experience building reports and dashboards from multiple, diverse data sources
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, DAX)
- Experience with report performance tuning and troubleshooting
