Offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.Job DescriptionThis is a 24‑month contract opportunity and will report to the Operations Planning Team Lead.The selected candidate will act as liaison between the leadership team and logistics partners. The individual will assist the Operations Planning Team Lead with summary analysis to aid Kaizen initiatives, pilot project implementation and reporting out to management. In addition, the successful incumbent will work to help the PDC Management Team with reporting and year‑over‑year analysis of various KPI’s; and will serve asback‑up for others in the Operations Planning team.What We’ll BringA work setting built on teamwork, flexibility and respectProfessional growth and development programs to help advance your careerA focus on respect for people and continuous improvementSummer Hours – condensed work week during the summerBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageExtended health care and dental benefits effective immediatelyAssociate vehicle discount programPaid holiday shutdown and competitive paid time off benefitsWhat You’ll Be DoingReceiving SupportLiaison between Operations Leadership team and Parts Supply & Logistics team to coordinate and schedule all inbound freight including 3PL/OSS transfersInterprets SPAO shipping reports to maintain steady inbound line volumesTracks all inbound shipments to ensure adherence to scheduled arrival windows and carrier on time performanceCoordinates receiving/shipping functions between PDC and 3PL PartnersPrepare & communicate all required and relevant information to the PDC for unloading/receiving operations, including: ASNs, incoming backorders, lines, seal changes, delays etc.Maintain, schedule, and update all inbound deliveries and adjustments in EWMMonitor daily expedited shipments including FedEx, UPS, custom goods, and direct to dealer partsDocument and submit all transport claims for PSCO,



local vendor partners and Dealer ReturnsConfirm receipt of daily dealer returns, communicating POD to carriers and investigating any discrepanciesInventory SupportPerform a wide range of duties investigating inventory by resolving inbound discrepancies and reporting the accuracy of local deliveriesInvestigate local inbound discrepancies, PSCO inbound discrepancies and communicate non‑scans to TMNA teamParts Supply advises PDC OH requirements and balance inventory between the PDC and 3PL/OSS as requiredPDC SupportAdminister PDC Work Wear ProgramSubmit expense reports on behalf of the PDC staffScan and electronically file all paperwork to adhere to compliance regulationsOrders PDC Office and Dept 20 SuppliesReports on usage & cost saving alternatives, utilizing a Kanban system for orderingCommunicate with our WCPDC counterparts to Yokoten best practices within the PDCsServe as back‑up during vacations and unplanned absences for the Operations Planning teamSet up & maintain blanket Purchase Orders for both Operating and Capital Expenditures for the PDCAssist with the implementation of various Kaizens throughout the PDCTrack & maintain the fleet RF Scanners, Walkie Talkies, and Locker assignments for PDC floor Team MembersMaintain PDC organizational charts and Associate Administration Database with a high degree of confidentiality and discretionAssist PDC leadership with the coordination and execution of various PDC‑specific eventsAct as the liaison between Head Office and the PDC for the rollout of special programs and initiativesOther duties as requiredWhat You’ll BringUniversity Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline or 2 years parts operations equivalent experienceIntermediate to advanced technical qualification including – MS Office & MS Excel, SharePoint, SAP WMS, or related systemsProfessional and customer service focused across verbal and written communicationQuality focused with excellent attention to detailExcellent critical thinking and resolution orientedHigh level of personal initiativeProven team player with knowledge of how to build relationshipsAptitude to maintain multiple and changing prioritiesStrong presentation skillsAbout UsToyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
