Reporting to the Communications Office, this position offers an opportunity to support the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of parish websites across the Diocese.This is a part time student position (May to August), approximately 20–25 hours per week, with some flexibility.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development, updating, and maintenance of parish websites.Serve as a point of contact for parishes, liaising with parish staff to support website updates and gather required content.Support the implementation of website templates and ensure consistency across parish sites.Troubleshoot basic website issues and provide technical support as needed.Work with Communications staff to upload and organize content (text, images, documents).Ensure websites are user-friendly, accessible,



and aligned with diocesan standards and best practices.Assist in optimizing website performance and responsiveness across devices.Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and deliverables.Provide general digital support to the Communications Office as needed.Required Qualifications And ExperienceExperience with website development and coding (e.G., HTML, CSS, and/or other relevant platforms).Familiarity with content management systems (e.G., WordPress or similar) is an asset.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Formal education in a related field is not required but would be considered an asset.We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.The Diocese of Hamilton is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible work environment.
