Become the Contract Rodeo Coach at Olds College, focusing on athlete development and community engagement. Inspire student-athletes through effective coaching and leadership. In this role, you will oversee the Olds College Rodeo Program under the guidance of the OC Ag Manager. As a Contract Coach, your duties will include managing team operations, developing training regimens, and engaging actively with the community to promote the rodeo initiatives and student success. Key Responsibilities:
Coach participants at rodeos and training sessions
Create and implement yearly competition schedules
Monitor student-athletes' academic performance and welfare
Advocate for safety measures in all practices and competitions
Engage in community fundraising and support initiatives Requirements:
Three years of coaching experience at collegiate or qualified level
Valid First Aid and CPR certification
NCCP Level 2 is desirable
Excellent communication skills are crucial
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends Contribute to the rich tradition of rodeo excellence at Olds College through dedicated coaching and mentorship.
