This role oversees the Climate Change Unit, ensuring strategies and action plans for climate change are developed and executed effectively while promoting sustainable resource use in the Northwest Territories. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement climate change action plans
Oversee climate knowledge collection and information sharing
Coordinate adaptation initiatives and climate outreach
Manage the integration of climate considerations in regulatory decisions
Lead climate change unit’s human and financial resources Requirements:
Diploma with 9+ years experience or equivalent qualifications
Robust project management and analytical skills
Proven leadership and communication skills
3 years in strategy or policy development
