Lead recreation operations as the Coordinator in Vernon, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all city recreation facilities. In this role with the City of Vernon, you report to the Manager, Business Services, serving as the technical authority for recreation facilities.

You have regulatory responsibility as the designated Chief Engineer for ammonia refrigeration plants and provide hands-on leadership to Facility Operators and Custodians.

Your role is crucial in guaranteeing that the Active Living Centre, arenas, and pools are mechanically reliable and protected for community use. Key Responsibilities:
Safeguard recreation facility safety and cleanliness




Lead all aspects of preventative maintenance
Oversee ice operations and pool chemistry
