Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Car Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues. This role involves working with a range of tools and equipment to ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service and technical expertise.

Duties
Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
Follow schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and execute repairs
Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or custom modifications
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle
Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations




Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and completed work
Keep the work area clean, organized, and secure for all team members

Skills
Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a solid understanding of vehicle systems
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
Experience with automotive assembly and maintenance procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues
Customer service skills to effectively communicate repair needs and solutions to clients
Knowledge of safety protocols related to automotive repair settings
Prior mechanic experience is preferred;

certification or training in automotive technology is a plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
