Take on a pivotal role as a Finance Specialist in the energy sector, based in Burnaby, BC. This full time position focuses on advancing finance operations within a growing BMS company. Reporting to the Canada R&D; Center Manager, you will manage accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, and develop cash flow models.

This role requires 3+ years of finance experience and a solid understanding of Canadian accounting standards. Your contributions will enhance compliance efforts and drive strategic financial insights for the company. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations including payroll and ledger activities
Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Develop budgets, forecasts,



and capital efficiency models
Support compliance with Canadian taxation and incentive programs
Liaise with auditors and external service providers Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
CPA designation or coursework underway is an asset
3+ years of accounting or finance experience
Solid knowledge of Canadian accounting principles
