You will assist with record-keeping, maintain therapeutic areas, and engage residents in various recreational activities. Your experience with senior populations and knowledge of mental health will aid in providing impactful support and fostering a nurturing workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Recreation Therapy Manager on program execution
Maintain daily attendance records and participation logs
Clean and organize therapeutic equipment and areas




Handle cash responsibly for related programs
Support the orientation of current staff and volunteers Requirements:
Background in Recreation Therapy or working with seniors
Certifications in CPR and Standard First Aid
Current Class 5 driver’s license with clean record
Transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Capable of managing emotional and challenging situations Deliver compassionate recreational therapy and nurture positive experiences for residents at The Salvation Army.
