My name is Angela, and I am a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Supply, a specialized recruitment agency focused on supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service. We recruit for both temporary and permanent positions throughout the Greater Montreal Area. Our client is a well-established retail organization in Canada.

As part of a temporary replacement, the company is seeking a Demand Planner to support its replenishment team. As part of the planning team, you will be responsible for forecasting inventory needs across multiple product categories. You will play a key role in analyzing sales trends, developing demand forecasts, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure product availability across the company’s network.

You will collaborate closely with Purchasing, Allocation, suppliers, and Distribution Center teams to support an efficient supply chain. Determine order quantities to optimize inventory levels





- Follow up with suppliers regarding purchase orders and deliveries
- Ensure proper product allocation based on store requirements
- Work closely with Distribution Centers to ensure inventory availability within required timelines
- Identify inventory challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; 1 to 3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Allocation, or Supply Chain
- Retail experience is considered an asset
- Strong interest in supply chain, demand planning, and inventory management. Temporary contract of 12 to 15 months (maternity leave replacement)
- Chance to further develop expertise in demand planning and supply chain management.
