You will coordinate with community members and build trust within L’nu communities while focusing on health promotion and training Mi’kmaw professionals. Engage with stakeholders and lead health research initiatives reflecting Indigenous knowledge. Key Responsibilities:
Consult and collaborate with Elders and L’nu community members
Develop health promotion activities based on L’nu knowledge
Recruit Mi’kmaw students into health programs
Work with MINES to enhance health education
Report annually on initiative impacts Requirements:
L’nu descent or solid community connections
Preferred fluency in Mi’kmaw
Health Science undergraduate degree minimum
