This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time. It includes ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patients’ needs and providing friendly, positive, proactive interactions with both internal and external customers, along with public‑relations initiatives and education of customers.What you'll doPrepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patientsEnsure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needsCounsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, proactive interactionCreate awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctor’s requests/issuesReview and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)Provide ongoing training for all current and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)Responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering Rx and clinical services (within scope of practice)
