Responsibilities
Handle customer inquiries via phone, chat, or email with professionalism and enthusiasm
Assist customers with placing orders, providing product recommendations, and upselling when appropriate
Process transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems
Manage cash handling procedures securely and responsibly during order processing
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions for quality assurance
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during all customer interactions
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues promptly and enhance overall customer satisfaction
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or food service environments
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
Robust time management skills to handle multiple customer interactions efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
Effective communication skills to clearly explain menu items and resolve concerns
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a remote setting
Experience in restaurant or food industry roles is highly desirable
Upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales
