Join UBC as a Research Engineer at the Advanced Therapeutics Manufacturing Facility (ATMF) focusing on biomanufacturing innovations. As a key member of the ATMF team, you will conduct extensive research to optimize biomanufacturing workflows for advanced therapeutics such as mRNA and cell therapies.
Your responsibilities include designing experiments, analyzing performance data, and ensuring alignment with GMP standards. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is vital to achieve project success and improve manufacturing protocols. Key Responsibilities:
Lead process optimization for therapeutic production
Execute complex experiments and analyze results
Maintain comprehensive documentation aligned with GDP
Support technology transfer initiatives to GMP environments
Mentor junior staff in research practices Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum three years of relevant experience
