Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Carpenter/Form Setter/Finisher to join our concrete team. This role offers an exciting prospect to contribute to diverse projects, including but not limited to:

-House foundations and slabs

-Excavation, Grading and Demolition

-Underpin, shoring and cribbing

-Floating slabs, patios, curb and sidewalk

-Trench drains, sewer and water, waterproofing

-Barn restoration work, timber framing and steel work including structural

-Masonry brick, block and stone

-Epoxy urethane

As a vital member of our crew, you will utilize your expertise in carpentry, form setting, and/or finishing to complete projects while ensuring safety and precision on every job site. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a quick-paced, energetic environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship.

We are looking for responsible individuals who have reliable transportation and who are punctual. Organizational skills is a must. This is year-round work throughout southern and northern Ontario - we are extremely busy.

Qualifications
Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on carpentry, concrete forming or finishing




Solid mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately for precise form setting and structural work
Knowledge of rebar installation, masonry techniques, caulking methods, and flooring installation processes
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
Experience with restoration projects or renovation work is highly desirable
Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety standards and quality control
