OverviewThe salary range for this position is CAD $30.67/Hr to CAD $30.67/Hr. Come work as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) at UBC hospital in Vancouver, BC. Under general supervision, the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician performs duties related to decontaminating, inspecting, testing, assembling, packaging, wrapping, sterilizing and distribution of hospital products to be re-processed, including easy and complex instruments, linen and equipment utilized for patient care in the operating rooms and other areas of the Hospital. Also performs designated cleaning duties, restocks operating and labour delivery operating rooms shelves, cupboards and carts according to established written procedures. Provides input regarding observations and interactions with patients to the unit based team.
