SRL Contracting is seeking a skilled and talented individual to fill it’s Project Manager position. The ideal candidate will need to be able to fulfill the role that is a key member of the leadership team and will have experience in construction estimating, possess strong analytical skills, and be detail oriented.

Details - Position: Project Manager - Location: 361 Hodder Avenue, Thunder Bay, ON P7A 1J1 - Salary: $85,000 to $105,000, plus bonus - Additional Pay: Bonus pay & Commission pay - Work Type: In-person - Job Type:



Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities - Lead residential and commercial construction projects from startup to completion.

- Provide detailed quotes for types of construction projects - Work directly with the President to lead and grow the company.
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other tools for accurate construction estimating - Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids - Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing - Develop detailed proposals outlining project scope, timeline, and pricing - Monitor industry trends to ensure cost estimate are competitive and up to date Qualifications - Three to five years in the construction industry - Experience in construction estimating - Supervisory experience would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency of software tools like HeavyBid and Bluebeam - Strong negotiation skills - Knowledge of project management principles - Ability to accurately price construction projects based on specifications - Excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills - Valid drivers license Benefits - Very competitive salary - Commission - Health care - Dental care
