Who We Are Metrolinx’s GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region.

The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network. What is the Chance?

Reporting to the Stations Lead, Major Civils Alliance, this incumbent will work on leading the delivery of the development of an existing station in the GTA GO Network.

- Accountable for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring objectives are achieved safely, on schedule, and within budget, proactively implementing effective mitigation strategies for risks and commercial exposures.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels of the organization, building trusted relationships, driving alignment, and securing commitment from clients, (sub)contractor, senior leaders and project teams, to support successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to evaluate design documents, identify constructability risks, and ensure practical and efficient project execution.
- Establish and maintain project budgets and schedules in alignment with approved project scope. Identify scope changes, assess impacts, and oversee all change management processes to protect project performance.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of contract agreements, ensuring commercial terms are aligned with project objectives and deliver value in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services by overseeing project procurement activities,



including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and award of contracts for qualified subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure accurate and timely project reporting and financial forecasting activities to support informed decision-making and project success.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Foster an inclusive and high-performing work workplace that values diverse perspectives, promotes equity, and supports employee engagement, development, and career progression.

You bring

- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in the civil construction industry, including leadership of large-scale infrastructure projects valued at $50M+.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence decision-making, gain buy-in and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from senior executives to frontline staff.
- Knowledge of various project delivery models, with experience in Alliance and/or Progressive Design-Build (PDB) projects preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment.
- Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities, manage risk, and protect project profitability.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet critical deadlines.




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Outlook, Word and Excel);

experience with scheduling, project controls, and estimating software is an asset.

- Expected compensation for this role is between $140,000.00-$180,000.00 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
