In this position, you will manage a broad array of insurance litigation cases from start to finish. Your expertise will enable you to advise the Claims department, develop comprehensive litigation strategies, and negotiate settlements effectively.
The role includes engaging with stakeholders and managing multiple priorities, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead tort litigation cases from inception to trial
Engage in negotiations and settle disputes
Conduct interviews and prepare court documents
Collaborate with experts and external partners
Contribute to Claims litigation strategies and policies
Requirements:
Juris Doctor or LLB from an accredited school
Minimum 2 years in civil litigation, with insurance focus
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Valid Alberta Driver's License required
Proven judgment and problem-solving skills
