The Assembly/Machine Building Technician will be responsible for building custom, made-to-order machines per drawing specifications.
Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude with experience in building or mechanical repair of industrial/heavy equipment.
Be able to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
A robust attention to detail is required.
To be secure in all operations of the job. To keep the work area clean and organized.
This is a low-volume work setting where you will build a machine from start to finish.
Must have a High School Degree
1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment or mechanical work experience.
High mechanical aptitude.
Any experience working on machines, cars or any type of mechanic background is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints.
An understanding of hydraulic components and functionality.
A basic understanding of 12V wiring.
Ability to use wrenches, air tools, overhead cranes, steel handling and frequent lifting required.
Forklift experience or ability to train on operation of.
