Overview

We are seeking a energetic and experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As an Asphalt Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage resources, and maintain strict adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Your leadership will drive the successful execution of asphalt paving and related infrastructure work, contributing to the growth and reputation of our construction team.

Duties
Supervise daily operations on asphalt construction sites, including paving, grading, and compaction activities
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide work execution
Monitor quality control processes to ensure adherence to safety standards and project quality requirements
Manage crew schedules, assign tasks, and supervise team performance to maximize productivity
Oversee budgeting processes related to materials, labor, and equipment usage to stay within project scope
Conduct site inspections regularly to assess progress, troubleshoot issues,



and ensure compliance with schematics and technical drawings

Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in asphalt or general construction projects with a strong understanding of asphalt paving techniques
Extensive construction experience with a focus on quality control and safety protocols
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
Solid knowledge of budgeting practices within construction projects
Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for exact execution of work
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards
