O’Hanlon Paving's Paving crews (Operators & Labourers) are growing and we are looking for enthusiastic & experienced Finish Roller Operator to work seasonally in a seasonal full-time capacity, in various locations throughout Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.

Responsibilities:
Assist the crews with Equipment Operator or labourer duties
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour and use of hands and tools
Safe operation of equipment such as Wobbly, Roller operators or packers
Work with minimal supervision
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Other duties as required

Qualifications:
2 years experience in operation of construction related equipment such as wobbly, packer or finished roller will be an asset; OR
Some labourer experience assisting crews and operating construction equipment will be an asset;
Thorough knowledge of the safe operation of the equipment and municipal road building industry;
Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time;
Open to training & learning equipment for growth opportunity;




Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites;
High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions;
Ability to work in varying weather conditions;
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting;
Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends;
Valid safety certifications.

Additional Information:
This is a seasonal position and starts in spring of every year
This position is eligible for over-time
Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
Training will be provided for various activities
We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your advantages during the winter months (off season)
Potential on call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season
