Foundation Health is seeking an
Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN)
to join our growing specialty team. This role includes providing comprehensive gynecologic and obstetrical care in a community-based setting, with prospects to build a focused practice aligned with your clinical interests.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including:
Routine well-woman exams and cervical cancer screeningMenstrual disorders and hormonal managementContraception (including IUD and implant insertion/removal)Menopause and perimenopausal careManagement of gynecologic conditions (e.G., fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS)
Provide obstetrical care (if applicable), including:
Prenatal and postnatal careLabour and delivery participation (based on hospital privileges and call structure)
Perform office-based procedures such as:
Endometrial biopsiesColposcopy and treatment of cervical dysplasiaMinor surgical procedures




Collaborate with family physicians, midwives, and other specialists to ensure continuity of careProvide patient education and counselling on reproductive healthMaintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systemsParticipate in quality improvement and program development initiativesQualifications
Medical degree with licensure in Ontario (or eligibility through CPSO)Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada)Experience in both gynecology and obstetrics preferred (flexible depending on practice focus)Ability to obtain hospital privileges (if participating in obstetrics)Solid clinical, procedural, and communication skillsCompensation & Structure
