Reporting to the Intellectual Property Engineer, your main duties will be to :
Participate in the evaluation of new concepts to identify potential innovations
Conduct prior art searches
Participate in the drafting of patent applications
Coordinate the monitoring of new patents with engineering teams
Analyze existing patents
Participate in the evaluation of potential issues of encroachment on third-party intellectual property rights by products offered by Soucy

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant experience
At least three (3) years of experience
Bilingualism (English and French) to communicate with our English-speaking partners
Attention to detail, patience,



and the ability to maintain focus over long periods of time
Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage documentation in a structured manner
Independence and resourcefulness
