Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager – Tiles and Stones Installation Systems/Floor Coverings Installation Systems, the position holder fulfills the responsibilities linked to sales and representation of his territory.

Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
Is responsible of the territory growth, sales budget and business management of the designated territory consistent with corporation objectives through special presentations of current and new products on the market ;
Is responsible for representing the company with various potential customers (distributors, consulting engineers, industrials, architects, installers) ;
Is responsible for product training, communications with clients regarding technical matters on products, does complaint resolution and influences buying decisions of the customers ;
Is responsible to present a written report to the management on the activities of the territory and provides market intelligence ;
Does cold calls activities or market solicitation on a regular basis ;




Responsible to provide company with feedback on field testing of current or prototype formulas ;
Participates in the development of current products with the Product Managers
Does any other related tasks.
Education: College Degree (CD). University degree, an asset
Years of experience: 5 years’ experience in sales, customer service in a similar industry and/or workplace.
Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Professional knowledge of tiles, stones and floor coverings installation systems.
Languages Spoken and Written: English

Office automation software: MS Office
Knowledge of MAPEI products and industry standards
