The Manager integrates data from all service areas to generate insights that support and inform organizational decision-making.The Manager, Community Impact & Insights leads a team across the organization who deliver community value. They are responsible for identifying future growth opportunities through community analysis and delivering programs in the community, and overseeing the development of marketing and promotional strategies designed to maximize organizational reach.



The Manager is also responsible for managing day-to-day service operations at a library location.Working Conditions:Salary Range: $87,840 to 106,771 annually (2026 rate)Status: Non-Affiliated, Regular Full-TimeSchedule: 35 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as requiredVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Position Responsibilities:Identify and implement high-impact community partnerships that catalyze social engagement and expand the reach of CLMA servicesExecute data-driven community analysis to recommend and implement future service directions and strategic growth opportunitiesIn collaboration with the Director, Strategy & Innovation, develop and implement an annual marketing plan aligned with the CLMA’s strategic goals, including measurable objectives for outreach, engagement, and brand awarenessLead the creation of marketing content, including social media channels, program newsletters, press releases, content for website updates, signage, and digital displays.Lead change management initiatives and foster an inclusive, high-performing workplace cultureParticipates in library facility managementDevelops and manages budgets for areas related to marketing and community engagementRepresent CLMA at municipal and professional forums, preparing executive-level reports and presentations to inform decision-makingBuild and maintain strong relationships with community partnersEnsure compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and health and safety requirementsPerform other related duties as assigned in support of organizational objectivesEssential Qualifications:Master of Library Science degreeThree (3)



years of supervisory experience in a service-based organization with an emphasis on marketing and community developmentDemonstrated expertise in staff leadership and supervision in a unionized environment, and fostering effective communicationExcellent knowledge in community engagement, program development and community-led library best practicesAn innovator with experience identifying and capitalizing on opportunitiesExcellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills with the ability to network and develop community partnershipsExcellent organizational and time management skills. Able to manage shifting priorities in a busy setting with frequent interruptions and a proven ability to work to deadlines and set prioritiesExcellent English language oral, written, and presentation skills including the ability to teach and present to community groups.
