The Academic

Advisor serves as a crucial link between students and the university, assisting with academic planning and student support services. You will engage with students at various UFV campuses, providing a team-oriented and inclusive advising approach.

Skills in written communication, presentation, and knowledge of student needs will be key to your success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interviews for academic assessments and planning
Deliver workshops and outreach initiatives to inform students




Configure success strategies tailored to individual student needs
Collaborate with departmental services to improve student experience
Interpret academic policies and program changes effectively Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
At least 2 years of advising experience in higher education
Graduate credentials or certificates are desirable
Proven skills in communication and relationship building
