At WHI, we're seeking experienced Journeyman Welders with a solid background in heavy steel fabrication and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for the repair and rebuilding of substantial mining equipment, ensuring high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Repair/rebuild large mining equipment components - Utilize GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding techniques - Read and interpret blueprints accurately - Participate actively in safety programs - Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace
Requirements: - Certified Red Seal or Alberta Journeyperson Welder - Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing workplace - Valid fall protection & elevated work platform certificate - Additional safety certifications are an asset - Preference for experience in Oil Sands sites
